I bough a Sundowner in 07, liked it. I Bough a Sargent seat in 09 with a back rest, not
comfortable to me. I went back to the Sundowner, I also sit a little farther back on the
Sundowner too.

I've had two Corbin solo seats and love them. The only seat I will own.

I went with a C&C sport tour with the driver backrest. I love it. I have always had Mustangs prior but the model I wanted isn't made for touring bikes and may just be discontinued.. so I found the closest thing I could and that was it. I think its well made by a company that is made of workers that left other seat companies and I like it. There might be more comfy but then they get thicker too. Wasn't trying to go fat thick...but I wanted cushion. I think stiffnes wise its not as stiff as corbin but not as soft as a mustang. But everyone is different so its hit or miss sometimes.

I've got a Sun-Ray seat on my RK, which is the heated version of the Sundowner. It's the most comfortable seat I've ever had on a bike and I've owned many. Did an Iron Butt on it and can ride 12-hour days repeatedly on long trips without any discomfort.

Do you really find the Sundowner to be uncomfortable or are you just looking for a change?

Just received back stock 08 UC seat from MCC. Had Allen lower rider 1.5 inches and move rider back 1.5 inches including double decker memory foam for rider and passenger. Also had .5 inch shaved off each side at thigh area. Installed and took about 50 mile ride. Achieved desired effect of sitting more in the bike rather on top of gas tank. Even with two layers of memory foam, seat is somewhat firm, but to be expected. Will see what next 1000 miles or so has affect on eliminating butt burn. Workmanship is outstanding. Even the seat backrest gap is non-existent. Thanks to Allen and to his whole team. Outstanding customer service in answering questions
