The stebel air horn is very popular on another forum I hang out on. Small self contained and 139db. www.bikerhiway.com

I like it, out of sight, easy maintenance. I also like the HD air horn that bountyhunter has with the exception that it isn't centered between the heads and the compressor isn't chromed - still looks nice though.

man, if only I had a place on the bike to mount the 1510 kit from this link http://www.airhornsoftexas.com/emergency/emergency.html

I am thinking about ordering one for my truck. The big thing around here is going to train horns, but I like something different. Grover Stuttertones are those fat sounding snarly, nasty horns on firetrucks.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I personally like my air horns tucked under the gas tank on the left side
because it directs the sound directly at the person I want to hear them.
I would think that horns tucked behind a saddle bag, pointing down would
have it sound muffled quite a bit.

I like the Stebel also. I saw alot of guys from another forum remove the compressor from thehorn and place the horn inside the fairing. That is the way I would do it if I swap mine out. Otherwise I might just lengthen the wiring and place the stock horn inside the fairing to get rid of the cowbell.

When I installed the air horns on my Ultra, and removed the stock horn under the cowbell, I discovered that there was another horn mounted under the cover of the fairing. This surprised the hell out of me but I just left it there. You can't hear it anyway when I sound the air horns I mounted...

Here is a link to the air horns I installed:

Wow, I would love to be able to mount those five train horns on my bike. It would look like crap but it sure would move those annoying cagers out of the way...
