Default Oil leak at shifter

I have a small oil leak where the shift rod goes in. Is there a way to change the seal without disassembling the primary.

Thanks

I have changed a few and I don't see how you could. When you do this drill a small hole in the metal part of the seal and use a self tapping screw to screw into that hole. Than take a pliers to pull on the screw head to pull out the seal. Tape the splines on the shaft to prevent them from cutting the new seal and tap it in with a deep socket that fits the outer edge of the new seal.
The good news is the replacement seal is made better so you should not have this issue again.
