Default FLTRU windshield options?

The stock windshield doesn't provide quite enough wind protection here in windy-*** Indiana so I'm looking for something taller (or simply better). Tried out the H-D Windsplitter as a demo from my dealer... Yeahhhh... that made things worse.

So I'm curious what windshields others have on their RG's and like.

Default Windscreen

No doubt you will receive lots of advice. CeeBailey was my choice. They like most vendors here offer Forum member discount. Ride safe and often.

National Cycle V Stream 15 inch works great for me. 6' 1", sit tall in the seat, top inch or so of my helmet gets some wind is all. NO buffeting due to the side curve of the shield, love it.

Cee baileys has got one more vote. They are thick so no vibration, the optics are incredible and they make them any size. They made one for my wife's road queen 4 inches taller 2 inches wider great company.

What size Windsplitter did you demo? I demo'ed the 9" & 12", didn't like either. Loved the 15". I also like being able to see through the 15".

I went with the F-4 18.5" tinted windshield. It's made out of Polycarbonate (Lexan) which has been scratch resistant for more than a year now. It even has rain shedding built into it.
It's an improvement over stock but not perfect. I prefer to look through a windshield.

LRS recure. I just went from an HD Windspliter and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. They are a sponsor on the forum and offer forum members an additional 20% discount. You have to register an account on their site and then enter HDF20 in the coupon text box when ordering.

Cee Bailey folks: did you use their recommended size chart, or did you deviate from that and choose your own size?

I'm 5'8", so that puts me at a 14" shield according to their charts, and honestly that seems like it's gonna be too short to really provide any protection. So I'm curious.

gipper: not sure which size Windsplitter it is. They only have 2 for demo and I've got the larger of the 2. I'm definitely not looking THROUGH it - it's only about lip-level on me, if that. (And I'm only 5'8"...)
