I just found the same issue and found this post. Good to know I am not the only one, seems like a flawed design on this one. Did you guys just tighten it or replace the gasket too?

I split open the two halves of the exhaust bracket and put copper grease in between. The carriage bolt that keeps the bracket together has a self locking nut, so I used very little torque to allow the bracket to slide as the exhaust expands. So far so good
