Street Glide vs Road Glide

Had an EG Ultra for about 34,000 miles. Rode a buddy's RG Ultra about 18 months ago and really liked it. Traded a week ago for the RG Ultra.
Feels lighter to me at all speeds. Noticeably less buffeting behind trucks and in cross winds. I have a Klock Werks screen coming, but the stock isn't bad for me.
Took about 19 minutes to adapt to the fairing not turning with the bars. Took about 45 to get used to the roominess of the cockpit.
YMMV, but I would not trade back. That's a pretty common statement for Sharkies.
But, hey, either is a really good bike. Hope you love whatever you choose. And.... ride safe.

I also agree that a test ride could help but you need to put some miles on both. I had a 07 FLHT STD & then traded up to a 11 FLTRX 103. My buddy has a Electrical Glide Ultra & we trade last week on a road trip & I could not wait to get back on mine. Just my 2 cents. Sounds like you made up your mind anyway, so what is it? Hey, I bought a Sportster back in the day, because I didn't have enough $$$ to get a Super Glide. I should have waited. Fun ride around town. That's all I can say about it. Seems we all make bad choices sometimes. I hope it works out for you, Rob.

Ok guys. Here it is. I went with the Street Glide. For a couple different reasons. I won't go into them now, but I felt like this was the best choice for me. It was between Sunglo and Black. I went with Sunglo. I appreciate all your input the last couple days. I look forward to being on this side of the forum.
