I am also 51, wow I can't imagine Grandpa yet.

BUT! I do have concerns...my son is away at college and in a frat. All I see on FaceBook is totally hot chicks draped all over him. Scary!

Congrats!! And I can't believe no one has suggested duct taping the car seat on to the back of your bike... That's my plan for kids.

 

51...... Thats nothing. Im a grandad to a 18 month old tornado and im a mere pup at 45. i absolutely agree with some of the other guys about them being the most amazing things to happen to you. I have to see him at least 2-3 times a week other wise i miss him to much.

 

It ain't that bad .. love spending time with our grandkids .. I'm 57 and have three granddaughters and three grandsons, and one great-grandson. Okay, if you're doing the math the oldest granddaughter is my oldest daughter's step-daughter and the great grandson is the oldest granddaughter's son .. but they're our grandkids no matter what!

Trying hard to get my 14 year old grandson interested in anything. He used to love cars and motorcycles but that passed. Can't even get him to get on the bike for a ride. 11 year old and 6 year old grandsons can't wait to go for a ride, and the 11 year old has done a couple of 200 mile rides with Grandpa . Other granddaughters are too young (5 & 2) yet for a ride, but their daddy rides and they like Papa's motorcycles .

Congrat's to OP! Grand kids are funny. My oldest grand daughter Sadie, almost 3, has been calling me what sounds like Crappaw for the last few months. I almost don't like it when my son say's, "Hey CRAPpaw..." with the emphasis on 'crap'. Arrrrg.

 

Congratulations. Your life is about to get better. I ride my Harley along side two of my grandsons now. You can look forward to that.

 

That's great man! It's the ONLY thing better than a motorcycle...I only have 1, but he comes over and spends every wednesday with me...AWESOME! I keep teasing his parents that I'm going to keep him...LOL. Best wishes to your daughter.
