Default thank god for engine and bag guards

Had no choice but to slam on the brakes and slide the bike about 20 feet..i ended up in oncoming traffic..luckily they were goin slow and didnt hit me nor did the truck behind me..i rode it sideways for the first 15 or so feet and then i hit the pavement.i have some rash on my arm..smacked my knee pretty damn hard but i already have a torn mcl so couldbt do much more damage..othe then the rash on the engine and bag guards and some small flaking at the bottom of the fender you would never know i rode it like a skateboard for a bit lol...before we left my buddy asked me if i put my gremlin bell on yet and i said no ive never wrecked before..

Glad you had minimal damage to you and the bike. Bike can be fixed and rash will heal.

I'll play nice and respond with 'only the un-wise bad asses'. What were once vices are now habits....

Why did you have to "slam on the brakes"?
