Default My $25 WalMart Audio Upgrade

While I was @ walmart with the wife I wandered over to the auto audio section for some DIY:

As for the phone cradle I may look for one like this though, my brother has similar on his mountain bike: waterproof electronic mount - http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bracketron...Mount/15860629

You can see in the red circles where the cables are to attach the usb for power and the aux to send the phone output into the radio. The phone cradle fits right on by the controls on the handlebar and held on with 2 zip ties which surprisingly lock the 2 part cradle brace down really tight. you can then take the brace off and leave the small docking pad or just un-dock the phone.

I like the little stubby antenna, its really short and flexible so I curved it for fun to see if it would. The signal picks up great as its a thick marine antenna so no loss in reception and a lot cheaper/shorter than the HD short.

I am sure these are old news mod's just sharing as I go along for other new touring bike owners.

Your antenna needs some Viagra rubbed on it.

lol, yeah just curved it for the picture to show the flexibility. Not to worried about it getting broke or bent now.

Dude, you can afford a new $25k ride, but are using zip ties to hold on your handlebar mount? I think Jeff Foxworthy has a line that fits next....

That curved antenna make you look like your going a hundred mph just setting there.
I'd leave it like that.

Dude there are zip ties on your bike when it rolls out on the factory. I use zip ties to mount my license plates.
