greenville harley is in greenville SC so the game ***** red and white makes sense. They need a little black in there but I bet that was the idea.

 

Would be nicer if the white on the fender was gone, some kind of pinstriping and a color matched inner fairing., The slip-ons are kewl, first time I have seen those.

 

no like. not to be hatin' i see the following:

buyer profile:
- typical urban biker;
- ride from bar to bar;
- just wants to show he has a harley;
- will spend huge $$$ so he can just look at in in his garage.

just sayin'...

 

Awesome if I could borrow it on Saturdays to ride to Madison to watch my WI Badgers play football. Otherwise, I'd hide that bike out of pure shame of what had been done to a perfectly good bike.

Guess there are lots of opinions about how a certain style of bike should look? Customization is used to make 1. the bike look unique, and or 2. change to the look in style, characteristic, etc.

I am pretty sure that all s.g.s do not have to be a muscle car version of baggers. This old school look is great. I am thinking of taking a set of tins and doing the old AMF throwback stipes. Do your own thing. If they don't like it, then they don't have to ride it.

 

The orange/black it a better look to me, and not just because of the color combo (although I prefer that to the red/white)...

I like the way the orange/black carried the color scheme to the fairing and front fender as well, it looks more integrated than the red/white just on the tank/bags/sidecovers.

Mine's still new enough that I haven't decided if I want to paint it, but I probably will eventually...because there ARE a lot of plain SGs out there.
