Default Sound not as loud

Quick rundown, on my Electra Glide, I have the Hogtunes speakers a total of 6, with 2 amps, one amp for the lower fairing speakers and the other for the front and rear speakers. The problems is when playing the normal FM radio I get all the volume I need sometimes to much, but when I switch to satellite radio the volume goes way down, to a poiint where you really can't hear it well running 65mph, and thoughts, suggestions, ideas would be appreciated.

so the input to the system from the satellite is lower ( you don't say what you are using)- check to see if the output level of the satellite unit can be raised ( the delphi XM units have line level out put settings in the menu), other wise you may need to put a line booster in the signal path.

Ask your question in the Audio Forum. There are some pretty helpful audio gurus over there that should be able to help you out. I'm not one of them, but that's where I would go for any questions audio related.

Not sure if this is the case, but my bike has xm built into the radio, and I have the same problem. Of course harley says 'they're all that way' they did several updates that helped a little, but the volume on xm is noticeably lower than cd or fm.
