Had a new rear tire put on my 12 UC last week, brought it home and parked it. This morning, the tire was dead flat. Soaped it up and it's got a pretty good leak at the valve stem. Tightened the valve insert a little, tightened the nut on the stem a little....no dice. Still leaking. So for you guys that have put a tire on these wheels, did you have any trouble getting it to seal? If so, what did you do to fix it? Service manual says to always put a new liner in when you change the tire. I don't think my shop did this. Also when I dropped it off at the bike shop, I gave him a new 90* valve stem to install. When I picked it up, he said that he didn't install it because the existing valve stem is attached to the liner. If this is true, I wonder if HD has a liner with a 90* stem. It is a major PITA to check the air, and a 90 would really help.

Going through the same Crap. A new liner every time gets expensive along with the labor and that's with me bringing in the wheel and tire. A 90 degree valve stem is what should have come on the Bike!
