Ziplock baggies work great, and come in lots of sizes.

When I was in the Army and either deploying or going to the field I would use a ziplock bag to pack a pair of drawers, t-shirt and socks. They worked well, but don't keep the air out as well like the compression bags do.

I use heavt duty Ziploc bags. You gotta sqweez the air outta of em. Lasts about 8 hours. I also bought a waterproof bag made by Seal-Rite. 10L bag. I usually put my chaps, rain gear and spare clothes in case I get caught in a rain storm.

Just found out how the bag works. You stuff your gear, clothes or whatever the roll the top down 3 times and snap shut. The attached video link show how it is done. Pretty simple.

Bed Bath & Beyond; $20 = 8 bags. 3 suitcase size & 5 carry-on size. Just got'em, work great. Seal & roll the air out. Very clever design.

Not really sure how the bag is supposed to "compress"! My luck it came with no instructions. Feel like an idiot, but has anyone had any experience with this bag?
open one up, put in clothes, zip shut. from the zip edge roll towards the handle. air escapes through the one way valve along handle edge

These don't work that good but my wife uses plastic zippered empty bags from bedding linens seems to pack lot more then HD ones and keep every thing separate in each bags.key is to roll all garments tight individually before you pack.
