Unhappy 93 electra glide ultra classic upgrade

Does anyone know of a company that caters to stereo upgrades for 93's? I have seen a lot of advertising but nothing when you select there merchandise.I have the older cassette system and want to upgrade to a modern deck with aux. and c.d.. I know you can get decks with the plug and play adapters but can only find for 96 and up. does anyone have a clue if the wiring harness is even similar on them or the same? i Have such a good looking mint condition 90th anniversary flht that its bumming me out parts and upgrades are almost impossible to find. any help would be greatly appreciated.

well,

I had a 1995 model before the 09.

CD's are a thing of the past- forget about them-

right now and into the future MP3's are the way to go...I use my ipod/iphone as a player- music and podcasts.

maybe running 2nd is satellite radio.

both of which can be run through your stock unit for the cost of a FM Modulator..under $100

the stock antenna plugs into the modulator- the modulator plugs into the radio antenna in.

when powered on, the signal from the antenna is interupted and replaced with the audio you run into the stereo plug. ( you have to select an pre-determined FM frequency on your radio)

fidelity is great.

a better modulator will have more than 1 frequency available.

the unit I use(d) was made by Delphi/XM and I also used in for XM radio.

similar units available online or best buy, like this;
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142FMMO...2.html?tp=1701

you can also upgrade your speakers- selection is limited due to size- I had good results from a set of $45 Polks.
These speakers were more efficient, more sound per watt from the stock radio than other speakers.

and you still have the am/fm/wb functions

Mike

Welcome to the pit!! Have you tried Biketronics or Hogtunes? They sell motorcycle specific audio equipment, if they don't have it they should be able to point you in the right direction, another option is to count the number of pins that connect to the radio, find an audio adapter kit that has the correct number of pins that will hook up and go all aftermarket, another another option (lol) is to direct your question on the audio forum, more than likely you will find answers there. Good luck with your project. Post some pics of that purddy thing.
