Default Corbin Dual Tour verses C & C Sport Tour ?

Recently purchased a new Ultra Limited. I knew since the test ride that I didn't care for the factory seat. The factory seat makes it feel like I'm sitting on top of the gas tank. Sits me up too high and too far forward. I don't have a problem with being able to touch with the height I'm 5'10", I jus don't like sitting up that high. I'm looking for a seat that will seat me down and back. C&C Sport Tour has a seating position that I'm looking for while still keeping the passenger happy. But I haven't heard anything about their long range comfort. Corbin Dual Tour has an excellent reputation for comfort, after they break in, but do they seat you down and back?

I've been sitting on Corbin Seats for 25+ years. While they tend to be firm, I've never had one that started me squirming, even when brand new and yes, they only get better with the miles.

I have the Dual Tour on my 2011 Ultra Classic. When I ordered the seat, I answered a series of questions that helped them custom tailor it to me. It sits me down and back, as compared to the stock seat. Speaking of the stock seat, I couldn't ride for more than 50 miles without becoming uncomfortable. The day that I put the Corbin on, I rode 200 miles non-stop, without any discomfort. The quality of the seat is outstanding!

The absolute best seat that I've ever owned has been the Russell Day Long, which is truly a custom-built seat. However, the wait-time is pretty long and the price is quite a bit more than the Corbin.

What he said about the Corbin. Had mine for six years. Wouldn't think of another brand.

An hour and a half on the stock seat and I'm starting to get uncomfortable and moving around trying to relieve the burn.

I'm vertically changed at 5'7". I went with the Mustang dual touring seat with studs but I sent it to Mean City for a noze job and lowering. I think they make a low down seat as well. Check them out. The Corbins are nice, had one on my Dyna but a bit firm for my taste. Seats are a very personal thing to each rider, you need to set on some different ones if you can to find the perfect one. Or yyou can call MCC and talk to them about fixing your stock seat. Be much cheaper than buying a new one.

I picked up a used corbin dualtour and it does sit you down and back. They do sell a "close" model so stay away from that. I love my corbin! and so does the fiance.

Call Corbin and tell them what you want. They can fix you up. On my second Corbin and I will always have one. Somewhat firm but to me they both were comfortable from the first moment I sat on them. I have risden on a Corbin up to 16 hour days and trips as long as 12k miles over 34 straight days and my butt never was uncomfortable.

Well my experience with this exact same issue was as follows. Have a Corbin Gunfighter&Lady on my FXR2 and love it. Wanted a Corbin for my new StreetGlide but I wanted the seating position changed to my specs. Corbin said "Sorry, no can do." C&C Seats said, "How would you like it?" I have a C&C SportTourer on my StreetGlide and I love it. Have ridden 600+ miles a day on it. Top quality, as good or better than the Corbin. Corbin is not the company it used to be and their customer service shows it. To bad, they made a good product. If you buy a C&C you are dealing with the owners directly. Chuck, Chuey and Dave all good people.

I have both.still like the corbin the best.the c&c foam broke down after a while and know is not as comfy on long rides.corbin made my seat just the way I wanted it,just has to be within the seat pan specs or they won't.
