Looking for comparisons of MGS True Duals verses Fuel Moto 2-1-2. My initial perception is that the 2-1-2 would out perform true duel type systems simply because of the collector design which makes use of the energy in the exhaust pulse to help scavenge the other cyclinder. Is there much difference between the two?

 

an x-pipe design has been a proven winner for cars and bikes exhaust. plus with the fuel moto you can still use the stock heat shields

 

While a 2-1-2 may be the better option performance wise, True Duals are hands down much better looking and sounding, IMHO.
MGS has a stepped header design which is supposed to make performance gains over stock setup. So I guess it all comes down to how much performance a 2-1-2 has over true duals and which look and sound you prefer better.
I went with MGS true duals and love em.
