CVO exhaust vs Stock non CVO
Does anyone know if the 2013 CVO stock mufflers are any more or less restrictive than the non CVO stock mufflers on a RoadGlide? I assume the sound wont be much different due to the EPA and many threads ive read on the forum. Just wasnt sure if the CVO's would breath any better?
Thanks for any info or feedback you may have.

I just got a CVO RG and to me, they aren't any different. I put on 4 inch Rinehart slip ons and I'm already considering headers, with a download of course. (Dyno would be better I know but not sure I need the finite numbers with the way I ride) The main thing I don't want to do is void the warranty. Wonder if I have by putting on the Rineharts?

I have a 2012 RGC and a 2012 RGC CVO. The CVO mufflers are less restrictive than the stock as is the CVO A/C. The mufflers control the 80 db limits of EPA and not the emissions. The design of the muffler can keep noise levels in play and move more gas.
The EMC and cats in the collector tube BEHIND the head tubes control exhaust emissions.
I have had both mufflers on each machine off and they are dramatically different.
The CVO RGC makes 122 ft lbs of torque at the crank. Put the 103's muffler and intake on it and that number would drop. The RGC CVO is the most potent TC110 that HD puts out.The other CVO's are 118 ft. lbs and the TC110B is 103 ft. lbs.

So other than looks, would I gain anything by putting RoadGlide CVO Mufflers on my non CVO RoadGlide Ultra? I do like the looks of the CVO Mufflers compared to the stock RGU Mufflers but will I have any adverse reactions by doing so? I wasn't sure if the 110 engine may have a different muffler configuration and or design that would not work well with my stock non CVO RGU with the 103?
Thanks,

I put the '13 cvo Road King mufflers on my '10 Ultra after I removed the catalyst since it got louder. I figured that the bigger engine, to reach the same 80 db limit probably had more volume in muffler and muffler can volume equals quiet as I understand it. They are quieter, and I have not noted any difference other then looks and sound since I put them on. They are quieter at part throttle but still bark when you twist the grip.
