Found I needed to replace my front motor mount. Did not want the new urethane type. Many of the aftermarket types are also quite hard, which I also did not want.

Found one on eBay, described as rubber. Gambled, and won! It is rubber, and its almost as soft as the old Orem one. Mounted it up, and with baited breath I fired it up and went for a ride. First few seconds, i was worried. The floorboards were tingling. But, after just a few minutes of riding, it was all gone, and everything was smooth.

Yes, I know this type probably will not last as long as the new harder types. I'm fine with that. I value the softness far more. Than long life.

 

I have an 07 Ultra. I just replaced all motor mounts front and rear. I also feel the little vibrations in the floor boards and hwy pegs mounted to the engine guard. Talked to the service manager today and he said ride for a couple of hundred miles and it should soften up. Well time will tell. I too appreciate a softer smoother ride.
