On page 7-35 of the shop manual it specifically states, Models intended for sale in Canada incorporate both a turn signal light bar and tail lamp, and include an additional jumper harness. The jumper harness connects the tail lamp to the facia lamp. It appears from the picture (figure 7-34) that the facia lamp is a circuit board module/lamp assembly located at the very bottom of the rear fender.

 

Don't know about bikes sold in Canada, but my 2009 Ultra rear fender tip light burned out, seems back in 2009 they saved a penny and did not seal the hole where wires went into the LED light and it filled with water and shorted out the light, the replacement light had a drop of sealant in the wire hole!!

 

I believe after 2010 all Street Glides imported into Canada had the lights disabled or removed. It is a Canadian DOT issue. There are many threads here on the topic and some on how to get the lights installed.

Well thats just Retarded. Why would they even bother putting an empty light housing in there with all the wires connected then?
