Default Metzler 888 tires

Got to put 100 miles on tires finally, these tires handle awesome. gives me my cornering confidence back. They dont follow grooves or tar snakes. Very pleased with these would recommend these tires. Also helped the ride quality also. Figures i would let you guys know how they are since they are new. Streetglide handles good again.

What did you have before? I've always run ME880's and thought of going to the 888's just for the mileage and wear. My rear is lucky to make it 8k miles.

I will wait to see a much higher mileage report. Just switched from Dunlop E III's to Michelin Commander II's and tar snakes are a bit of an issue I did not notice with the E III's. Otherwise handling is great in corners and all around except for the snakes.

Yeah, me too. So much that I have a Metz 880 tread arm band tattoo. I think that alone is worth a free set of 888's to test.

Sounds good, but I'm also interested in how many miles you'll get out of them. Let us know when you need to replace them.

I replaced my 880s with these 888s. Got 16500 miles out of 880s. Kind of curious how long these will last. They claim more miles than 880s.

I've been waiting for approx 2 weeks for the front to come off backorder. Have the rear in hand, but want to mount both tires at the same time.

Iam sure the bikes handling will be much improved, as my stock 402's are at the end of their life
