Default SS PN4.520D/RF PBR300x4 Poll

Looking to purchase one of these amps by end of next week. Just want to see what the users are experiencing with these amps to help me make a decision. FM is important but don't want amp failure either..

I have no real experience with either as I'm very happy with my JL xd400/4 in the fairing but have heard nothing good about the pbr 300/4 and there are rumors about poor fm with the SS. Glad I stayed away from both??

I have no doubt the JL is a very nice amp but not sure I want to spend the $$ at this time. Another option I'm thinking is running the (4) speakers off my 2 channel Arc amp, and wiring my front Focal tweeters off the JVC head unit as that would be a lot of power to the tweeters thru the Arc...

I got my JL little used off ebay for $200 so cost wasn't a big deal. While arc amps are ok don't know how it would drive your 4 Focal speakers? I would try it before getting one of the above amps. Run them in parallel to get them to 2 ohms to use the amp's full power. Might be fine? No problem running the tweeters off the HU.

I'll actually be running some JL's in the lids and wonder about power capacity. The JL's are rated for 100w peak and running them parallel exceeds this. Would need to be very carefull with the gains I guess...
