I really like my stock seat, but only ride solo. Can do 6-8 hours no problem.

Had an 08 SG. The wife rode 50 miles and said "get another f**ng seat or I am never getting back on that thing !!!" So, I bought a mustang seat for the ride home.

Both stockers suck for passenger.
09-13 are the same seat other than the vinyl isn't perforated on the newer seats. Same pan, same padding, same seat.

I thought the frame changed in 09? Didn't think they would inter change? Btw hated my stock 09 SG seat went with Sundowner and put in on my Ultra when I traded.

08-13 tourers use same seat. 07 and earlier tourers are different and have an external tab while the newer seats have a female slot for the frame mounted tab.

I would say it is the most comfortable stock seat I have ever owned... Having said that all my previous bikes were V-Rod's and Sportsters, oh and that amusing upholstered brick that came on my Heritage. It's a good looking seat that I will probaly keep on for around the area rides but I am already planning a demo ride on that Harley Hammock for when I really hit the road

I thought the stock seat really sucked if I rode for more than about 45 mins. I bought a Corbin and could not be happier with it.
