You're right, though - a torx screw and wrench is not gonna stop the whole ride from being taken.
You might want to consider lojack.
I heard that they do fairly well, if you can get to them soon enough.

ACtually, LoJack is limited to less than 30 states and has limited coverage within those states.

This company is good all over North America and the Caribbean. It's a different type system, much smaller, and faster in the recovery.

Cheaper, too!

I"m doing several thing to my bike, I purchased the Brukus latch system, my bike didn't have a security system, so I'm installing an aftermarket system, also putting in a Harley remote, so I can hit the button, and it sets the alarm, and locks down the ignition.
My security system has a paging system, so when It's bumped I get the page.
I installed two radio shack sirens under the swing arm so when activated the siren goes off, along with my lights.
Ain't no guarantee, but at least it will stop the novice thieves.
