Pearldrums2,
Welcome Home. It's not the happy place it used to be, but the scenery and riding areas can be fun.
I'm north of you but ride the South Holly area often down to 59. No reason to go any further south in that area it's more traffic and suburbs anymore. In my area, around the Frankenmuth area, there are many nice relaxing routes for just riding. Once you get here and settled in give the MI riders another riding invite. I've met several new riding buddies here.
Best wishes with the move.

Well, Congrats, sounds like you are happy about it...good for you.
Me personally, I'd agree with some of the others on staying south. I hate the winters anymore. I'd love to move to the Carolina's but the OL is from Buffalo NY and she'd like to move back someday, so looks like we are stuck in PA for a while.

Sure, this is the worst time of year to ask if you want to live in the Upper Midwest. Everybody has cabin fever. But we have many of the most beautiful areas in the country, friendly, hard working people. I love living in Wisconsin. There are many beautiful areas in Michigan. I would love to live around Traverse City, or Petoskey and be able to ski around Boyne.
Welcome back Bro. Looks like Spring is finally coming.
