Default switched acc connector under seat of 05 roadking

I have been looking for a switched acc connector under the seat of my 05 roadking to connect my radio power wire to for my woodys fairing..i found the plug that is constant power but want my radio to only work with the ignition switch on...any help?

It's best to grab I from the ignition switch. There are 3 wires that run to the switch. It will be the wire on your left if you're looking at it from under the dash.

However be sure to double check it with a digital multi meter.

the acc plug is under the seat just in front of the battery,might even be pushed up into the backbone.its a small square plastic box with 4 wires coming out of one end and a rubber plug on the other,under the rubber plug will be 4 small holes,they accept duetch connectors they look small banana plugs.u can get a harness at the dealer for around 15$ or u can use a crimp on duetch connector for like 12cents.one of the hole is powered by ignition one by the acc switch one by brake light.u can use a simple 12 volt light tester to figure it out.

i wouldn't use the ignition switch (they commonly burn up from to much draw)the acc switch controls a relay that is on its own fused circuit.

ok i see the connector with the rubber cap ithe acc harnesss i bought is for the hot wire attached to that plug so now i can see where i need to hook up to thanks

good choice on the fairing seen a lot of glens work i live in the area.from what I've heard his customer service is good as well.

very happy with glens product...put on the bike last February and havent had it off since..
