E-bay exchange here as well legs and wheel. Very happy with the deal . Plus you have factory parts. Even did the rotors.

Default Wrong size lower legs bought off Craigslist

A friend who also has a 2005 Softail Deluxe (FLSTNI), bought a set of chrome lower legs off Craigslist only to find that the axle size he bought was for a 1" and the installer said that he needed a 3/4" axle size !!

Are there any other details for chrome lower legs for a stock front end that I should be aware of???

Default ***** Shiny

I got mine from ***** shiny and they look great. No where near the cost of HD.

Lower legs are the same since 2000. You can order the one you want BUT for spacers there is a difference between 1" and 25mm wheels

Don't forget chrome drain bolts too

I took the boards advice and ordered the chrome lowers from HCSGuy. Should be in the 2nd.

Now lets talk about chrome rotors. Where can I get the best deal on them? By the way this board is great at making me spend money and save money at the same time.

Here's my advice.....get the legs, wheel, rotors, calipers, and I even did a fender all at once. It will save you the time of keep tearing the bike down.

It's inevitable.........
