Taking off the tour pack on my Electra Glide and wanting a solo seat.I am 5'10" 32" inseam would like opnions on which seat would be best?The Vintage Super Solo sits you back 1.25 inches and is wider I assume the Vintage solo sits similar to a stock seat?I have a Mustang seat on my Honda VTX and like the way it sits.

 

I am 5'9" with 30" inseam. I had the Super Solo. It was comfortable, but in the heat of the summer was miserable. I guess maybe there was too much seat area to hold in the *** heat. I put a Vintage Solo on over the winter, and I am glad I made the switch. I haven't been on it in the summer heat yet, but it is SO much more comfortable. I also have shorter arms and the set back on the Super Solo was very noticeable for me.

 

I'm 6'3"/35" inseam/average length arms. I went the standard vintage route at the advise of Mustang. They advised me that although the super solo sits you back 1.25" more, the angle/position of the seat increases your reach up to 3".

 

Im 5'10 - 31" inseam. When I spoke to Mustang they told me the super solo was for 6' and over. Moves you back a couple inches. Although the seat is nice, I'm not one to leave well enough alone and changing out. My Vintage Solo/Passenger set is in classifieds.

I found this seat to be comfy and snug with good support behind to keep you planted when your "twisting it"
