BRP VS Lake Tahoe/Lonliest Hwy, Zion
Only have 4 days off. Originally planned on BRP trip Thurs. but it looks like rain on the way out from OK and more rain on the way back. Now considering running to Lake Tahoe and then back on the Lonliest HWY and through Zion NP. I know I will have four 16 hour days, but that's why I bought the $700 Road Zeplin seat. Any opinions, would this be boring and I'd be better off riding in rain on the BRP? (no, I'm not scared of rain) Thanks guys

I like to log miles but that seems like a lot. We just did 2000 miles in 4 days ( 615, 510, 570 and 300 last day to beat storm home) and it was fun but a bit much to enjoy all o the areas we were in.
If it were me I would head from were your at to Arkansas and spend a couple days on some great roads there and what they have to offer.
4 days out to smokies is to short of time for me And I am half the distance you are.

Beautiful weather here now. Wait, let me rephrase, gorgeous weather here now. Absolutely perfect time to be hitting Zion or Bryce Canyon.

Thanks for the replies guys! Isn't it too early for beartooth? I thought it snowed there and at Sturgis last weekend. Waiving the NP fees is cool, but IMHO they should let bikes in for free all year. Still haven't made up my mind, but you are right on about now or Oct to visit the desert!
