Tahoe is near the top of my list of pretty places. Still some snow and green grass to make it better right now. At least take the time to ride around the lake. They don't call 50 the Loneliest highway for nothing! Some folks love the endless high desert, I'm not one of them...

 

Think it is too early for Beartooth.Highway 12 in Utah Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon is a nice ride.On Devil's Backbone don't look right or left for that matter. Look it up

 

I live very near and ride the BRP any time I wish. Save that trip for when you have time to enjoy it as there are so many places to jump off and check out. I would love to do Zion again as it has been many years. I like the Arkansas suggestion considering your location.

Going west from where you are is almost certainly going to involve at least 1 days worth of hard miles for the round trip.

Agree with Mike ref 4 corners region but I also really enjoyed region around Sante Fe which is even closer and some great riding
