Proper terminology: Street King

 

Here is mine. Love the fairing.

 

I know Street King is the accepted terminology but with the taller shocks, driving lights and tour pack seems to be more like an Electra King than Street King, JMHO.

BTW, nice looking Kings, keep the pix coming!

 

Mine is in Progress.. I'm sticking to the leather though... Batwing (radio and 4-5 1/4" speakers) will be leather covered to match the bags and tour pack....

A little extra kick!! 6" speakers in the lowers. Handle bar speakers have been removed...



On the console is a modified iPhone 4 chrome case that holds the phone in place (used 2 way carpet tape, STICKY stuff), a connector from under the seat provides power and audio interface to the shark audio amp that is under one of the side covers, the little black box is to the amp for power, volume +/-.

The plan is to be able to have music with, or without the fairing, and also still be able to use the stock road king windshield as well... When the fairing is installed, music from all 6 speakers...

 

I agree with you partly, mine is lowered in the rear. but when I thing of the Electra I think of CB and Intercom. My wife asked about an intercom and I told her I listen to her enough at home.
