Default 2009 Ultra CB Transmit problem?????

I have just that, a 2009 Ultra Classic and a CB problem.
I can hear others no problem but I am not transmitting,
rode side by side with another bike today and they could
hear the CB key and their audio would clear for the voice
traffic when I hit the PTT button but no voice transmission.
Anyone have ideas as I am still troubleshooting this and
could use some help from any possible past experiences.

Anybody else in your riding group have a helmet that can plug in to your bike? Try another headset to rule out problems with your headset. Can you transmit from the passenger audio jack?

Did you have a headset on?

Any chance the VOX setting needs to be adjusted? Sounds like you probably checked the easy stuff, but I've been fooled by the complicated radio settings on my 09 UC many times.

I can hear myself within the headsets when I depress the PTT button but no transmission.

As previously suggested, try broadcasting from the passenger connection. If you can, it confirms that the CB module is working. If you can't broadcast from the passenger connection, you have a bad module or wiring issue inside the fairing.

Also, I'm using my iPhone and HDF's mobile app so I son't know where you are based, but most places say "thank you" when they they get help from a stranger, even I'd the help is not effective.

I have been able to receive but not send on 2 different occasions. When you change headsets are you using the same cable? In my case I found a bent pin on the connector end that plugged into the bike.

I cannot xmit from the passenger set either, and yes "Thank you" to those who have replied. I was working on it while I was posting the other comments also on my iphone and the HDF mobile app. I have just now seen the replies however, so, THANKS again.
