Default Wind Splitter windshield

Is anyone using the 7" HD Wind Splitter windshield and what do you think of it?

Bought it, took a picture of the bike with it on and said wow, what a nice look. Went riding on a windy day and came back home and put my taller windsplitter back on. I didn't like the 7" as the wind was just horrible and could no longer hear my music clearly. If you want the 7" smoked for an FLHTCU pm me. I'll sell it cheap.

I bought one off of Ebay that never came so I went to the dealer and they had a 10", I bought that one and put it on for a ride down south.

I have to say it was a nice ride, I know there are better windshields out there for the money, I had a gift card for 100 bucks from my dealer for a referral so i don't feel I'm out of pocket allot... I liked the way it curves over the side of the faring a bit more to deflect wind away from your hands, and no matter what the description say, on the 10" a windshield bag fits just fine.
no buffeting at all for me

I have the 10" version and like it. It looks better than any other shield I have seen and does a good job of eliminating buffeting and providing wind protection.

Default Wind Splitter

I have the 7" Wind Splitter and like it a lot, although I think if you are any taller than 5'7" you would need a taller windshield.

I have the 7" tinted and am very happy with it. Just got back from 2,000 plus mile trip and for the 2 days we spent 6+ hours on the interstate at 75-80 the 10" would have been nice but I wasn't beat up at the end of the day by any stretch. I am 6 ft and enjoy the wind even on all day rides. I have J&M speakers with no amp and can hear the tunes fine at 70. If you're doing a ton of highway time or don't like the wind go with the 10. Other than that the 7 will work fine.

Ditto as they said above. Love the looks. Great for short hauls etc. Did a 2200 mile run with it and wished I had one that is slightly taller. I'm 5'9".

Of course, you have to 'mod' it some!

I demo'd both the 7" and the 10" at my dealer. Being taller I prefered the 10".

I have a buddy who has one on his Ultra. He likes it OK, but his back seat hates it.
