Default Where to tap into for an oil pressure gauge?

Aside from the factory oil pressure switch where can I tap a line for an oil pressure gauge?

Instead of tapping the oil system to put in another sender for a gauge, what about tapping the signal form the OEM sender and finding a gauge compatible. I don't think HD senders are particularly exotic, they are likely to have common electrical characteristics for that type of instrument.

Tucci, why don't you come by the house and let me help you with this before you do something that you might regret? I think you have my phone number in a PM I sent 3-19.

Got it off just fine but the AN fitting with the kit seeps oil no matter how tight I get it. Going to bypass the silver adapter that came with it with a 90° 1/4" elbow with a hose barb and thought I'd see if there's another place if any, I could tap into. Shame, had it all working just fine but couldn't get it to stop seeping. I'll get it figured out.....

Tucci I would install the gauge where it goes without the line hooked up, then go for a ride. My thoughts are that this gauge isn't going to be readily readable in the position it is in and may well not be conducive riding comfort. When I was riding today I looked to see if a gauge in that position would be easy to read and my opinion is no.
