Solo seat for Street Glide

It has two rubber bumpers that will rest upon the fender. These bumpers, in my estimation, will really "jimmy-up" the clear coat on your fender as the passenger continues to get on and off the bike. I refuse to use my passenger pillon until I get some of the "clear bra" material to apply to the fender where these bumpers will rest. I'm going to cut a nice, neat, little rectangle where they sit. Mustang has confirmed that this is the design. I say "no bueno" for my paint.
Mustang, you want to chime in here?
BTW- I have posted about this problem as I sought a solution before...

I had the Mustang Vintage solo w/backrest on my 08 SG and loved it. Like an idiot, I sold it with the bike. I just picked up a 09 SG with a stock seat and manual backrest. I am 5-09 with 29-30” inseam and the backrest pushes me to far forward and uncomfortable sitting against the tank. I ordered a Mustang Wide Tripper solo w/backrest last night. I will add some comments after a couple rides.
5Time thanks for the info on the pillion in case I decide to get one.

I have the Mustang wide tripper solo, backrest and pillion pad in the Diamond stitch. Nice seat and spent a lot for the whole set up. DO NOT buy it if you ride in all weather as it takes on water like a sponge. Mustang claims this is because of the extra stitching and is typical of a "custom stitched" seat. Not slamming them but it is something to consider. Mine will actually take on some water during a washing...
