Here's your part guild. Number 12 is the grommet that holds the side cover on.

Default STUD that holds side cover on

I have seen that diagram.
It does not show the part that fits into the grommet.
Its a metal plug that screws intot he side cover

The studs that hold the side covers on and go into the rubber grommets are a molded stud that is part of the side cover. Again I say what you talkin about willis?

Willis is apparently right:



At some point the molded-in plastic "stud" that most of us are familiar with were once screwed in bolts or studs as shown in this picture.

As for part number or source this all I can find.
