Default From Glide to King

Finally got rid of the 09 Street Glide to get the bike I should have bought in the first place, Road King. I made enough on the SG to buy the RK with no money out of pocket. Gotta love Craigslist. Im happy. Candy Orange and Beer Bottle. Now I need to keep an eye on the classifieds for a set of pipes.

Congrats! Enjoy!

It is always nice to be able to sell and make out on where you need to be financially with nothing out of your pocket!

The cool thing about a road king is the way you can dress it up, I can run it bare, add the Dragonfly fairing for the st. Glide look, add the tour back for a full dresser. Guess that's why I just bought an AR 15 platform build it to fit your needs

Congrats and good choice. I did pretty much the same thing last summer. I traded my 09 SG for a 2012 RKC and I'm very happy with my decision. My dealer was telling me everyone seems to be going the other way (RK to SG).

Did almost the same thing, sold the ultra and bought a new King. I just missed the open feeling and with soft lowers and fork mounted wind deflectors I get just as good wind protection on the cold days.
Never got used to the heavy front end and learned a radio is over rated and to much of a distraction
Long live the King
