Quick qestion got a 2012 RG and I got the detachable trunk. The factory antenna would not work with it. So stopped by dealership and got a shorty and it is to long also so what is everyone using?

Do a search for relocating the stock antenna.

Basically just thread the stock antenna up along the fender behind the saddlebag and up under the seat.

 

I'm running a hidden antenna, have for years. I think it was a Biketronics unit. I see they have one out now that has an amplifier in it. It's about $40.
