Default Great Dealership experiance

I went to a HD dealership today to have the cruise control that I installed enabled. It was not the dealer that I bought the bike from. They enabled the cruise NO CHARGE. I will be using that dealership from here on. The dealership is Vehicle City HD in Flint, MI. I was very impressed. Stopped in there at 2:00 and left at about 2:30. They got me right in and back out. Kudos To Vehicle City HD.

There are some good ones out there, too bad all we ever hear about is the bad experiences.

Never been up there for any work, I've only seen it from the parking lot when it was closed, but its *huge*. I need to check them out this summer.

Rolled into Dillon HD here in Omaha with leaking brake reservoir cap...bike was out-of-warranty and when I went back to pay the Service Rep said "no charge" and they also adjusted my clutch while it was in the back b/c he said it seemed a tad stiff.

Yes, there are good dealerships that still offer customer satisfaction...I go back there too so networking's the best form of marketing, in these cases.

Good to hear the service has improved. I got my King from Vehicle City and had a lot of trouble with them over a small thing.
My buddy just got a 13 Slim there and the salesman Jason showed us the service is run by all new guys now.
We ride over there from St Johns about 8 or so times a year down M-21 and on the way back we take different ways from Old Lansing Rd, makes a nice ride.

Your lucky. I wish all had half that amount of customer service.

Bought a 98 Heritage in 08 from Cowboys in Beaumont, TX. They do not offer extended warranties on bikes 10+ years old, so it was as-is. I test rode it and rode great!! That was Friday. I put a couple hundred miles on it Saturday, and it starts knocking, clanging, you name it.

The owner told me his reputation was worth more than a motor. They pulled the motor, shipped it out for a complete top and bottom end rebuild. They had my bike for about 3-4 weeks from start to finish. When I picked it up it was 100% free. They didn't charge me for one gasket, one quart of oil, not 1 hour labor, no shipping, nothing.

I won't ever buy a new Harley from anyone but them. And yes, Cowboys is where my orange RK is from. Good people.
