Default Cruise Control RKC?

Hey guys I'am installing apes on my 2005 rkc. I just realized I ordered the idle cable that's for a bike without cruise. I have cruise can I still use this cable and have the cruise control feature work? Thanks Bryan

I don't think so because the cable is what inguages the roll off function to turn off the cruise

It should still work, but when you roll off the throttle the cruise will not disengage. Only will be able to use the front or rear brakes to disengage. Could present a dangerous situation, but it's your call.
