I have some quilted wrap chaps from www.kneenecks.com.
With these, the only thing left to keep warm is the hands and face.
I use full chaps but like the wrap chap idea.
I was told the undergear is great. Mainly because it pull the moisture away from you and blocks the wind.
You can't go wrong with chaps. Not only do they block wind and keep you warm but they make you look bad *** too. (Well, they make me look bad *** anyway)
Also when you attend that wild party you can wear them with a thong.
I am wondering what if anything there is in place of leather chaps for cold weather and protection.
My alternative is Darien pants from Aerostich. Made here in the US (Minnesota) and Gortex lined so they double as rain pants. They offer more protection than chaps yet fit over your regular pants or jeans. They also go on and off quicker than chaps. They are easy to pack folding up to about 10"x12"x4".
I knew there would be some good ideas come from this post and some smart *** comments..........but thats what i like about this forum.
Thanks for all the ideas......but im not much of a thong guy a speedo is more my speed
