Default Looking for some brake rotor recomendations

I guess the previous owner of my bike enjoyed the front brakes a lot hence warping the rotors. Never the less I cant take the pulsation any more I want to replace them. What is a good replacement rotor?

Also are the touring bikes prone to having this problem? I guess im used to using a lot of engine brake and keeping distance.

If you wish to relive your youth, you might want to consider some rotors from Performance Machine. I picked up some new ones very cheaply at a swap meet.

Remember when you would stick playing cards on your bicycle forks to listen to them click in your spokes? That's just what these sound like when you apply the brakes. Seems every vent hole makes the pad edge go "tick". So I slow down to a none to subtle "brrrrrr".

Not my best purchase, in hind sight.

Harley floating rotors are fine - composite ones look great, but I suspect are expensive!

Matching PM rotors here and no issues or complaints.

Although this has nothing to do with rotors, hey "booch", your signature line took the words right out of my mouth .... !
