Default Lincense plate relocate question.

I used the2009 RK light bar/license plate mount to relocate the license plate below the tail light on my 2010 ultra glide. Can someone prove part numbers for a replace tail light visor to cover up the clear section on the tail light?

I ordered the license plate light that mounts on the light bar but am not sure how or where to wire it up. Can someone provide details on how to wire it?

Thanks

I moved my plate also and I went to waltersworkshop.com and ordered a red lay down lense with no plate light window. Not here yet or I would post some pics.

The plate light should already be on the RK light bar you installed.I spliced the wiring for my plate light in to the wiring for the fender tip light.IIRC it was the upper left connector in the tail light housing.

I just did this on my 2012 ultra limited. When I took the tail light off, underneath is all the plugs. There were two spaces (one 12v+,one ground) not being used. The license plate light plugged into these. As far as the actual tail light I also used the lens from the new bar. It is all red.

Taillight lens all red, HD part number 68245-03

I spliced license plate light into the fender tip light.
Here is a write up of when I did mine:

Thanks all for there the responses. Yeah, I didn't order the tail light lens when I order the light bar. I'll place another order.

There is a a chrome cover that could be used instead. Anyone have a part # for it.

The other option is to replace the stock light bar with the bullet touring signal bar, then get the Softbrake plate relo bracket and a Radiantz LED plate frame.

I used the Softbrake bracket. I was gonna use the Radiantz LED but it stuck out too far. A local shop had another brand in stock that fit. I wasn't sure the LEDs would be bright enough so added the LED plate bolts also.

Nice plate! Too bad we can't get symbols on plates in Washington.
