This is a stock seat off of a 2011 Streetglide. My RG here came with a solo but I wanted a lower seat. I sent this Streetglide seat to Mean City for a mod that lowered me. They did lower the seating area but I also had them shave the rear passenger area to slope down a little more to the fender for a little better look.

You could probably get a passenger on their comfortably. You could also try an HD Badlander

Just buy a used HD Sundowner seat on ebay or on this forum.

By the time you send your seat for a mod and pay the postage both ways, you've already paid for a good used Sundowner seat sent to you.

Been there, done that.

do you want a seat that can handle a passenger or one that she'll be comfortable on? the newer road king FLHR seats are low profile for the rider but nice and cushy for the passenger. they just look a little clunky in the back. I'm sure you can find a take-off on ebay or something. it's not always about looks...

Hey fxdsegrl I am thinking about having mean city doing the same to my 2012 SG seat.
How far lower do you sit with the mean city mods?
Can you tell any difference in comfort?
I need at least 1/2" lower but 1" would even be better.

Default Low Profile Seat

Sent my seat to Mean City Cycles best thing I ever did. Just came back from a 675 mile trip and could not be happier. Good people and you get to talk to a human

P51...yes the MCC mod definitely lowered my feet closer to the ground. I would say close to an inch. It was called their Super Narrow mod. They narrow the nose which brings your legs closer together and reshape the seat pan adding their memory foam. Very comfortable too. I would recommend giving them a call for sure. They did mention that the stock 11/12 seat from a RG and SG were the best for this mod because of the pan shape on these stock HD seats

I went with a C+C seat. Put me back 2", and down 1"....hears some pics (wifey likes it too). Not real good pics of the seat, but should give you an idea. Also, one of the most comfortable seats I've ever owned.

+2 on the c&c seats, check out the sport tour in leather, beautiful seat with decent comfort for the passenger.
