I am 6'9" and I tried the sundowner. IT was a comfy seat but I found I couldn't go more than 200 to 300 miles before my legs started to burn and hurt.

Switched over the to the tallboy and can do 700 miles before that pain comes. Sad they don't have a demo seat. Mine didn't but I got a good price new from the dealer so I just did.

Though if you buy a seat and they wont take it back. People on here love them. I sold my sundowner and mustang seat on here. Granted I didn't get what I paid but it helps keep the misses happy. I am looking at mean city to do some work on my Tall boy as well.

 

I have a HD Tall Boy seat with back rest I'm willing to sell from my '10 ultra classic sitting in a box in my garage in near perfect shape. Replaced it with a mustang seat. Can't say that I see much difference in comfort. Contact me at sdff0326@yahoo.com

So I thought it was just me that wasn't happy with the Tallboy. I'm a meager 6'5" tallboy myself. But I'm a solo rider. The position is ok, comfort is ok at best. but looks suck. Looks like I have a futon pad on the back. Too big and useless (for me). With the floor board extensions, out (harley goodies) and forward (ness extensions), the ride position is good, but not the end game.

I'm curios if anybody has tried the C&C solo seats, if they are comfortable and sit you back without forcing you up. Or any solo seat really. I want to sit on the fender if possible. just kidding =)

 

I would go with the solo seat a separate one for the passenger. What I need is to go back an inch or so.
