Someone on here said an ounce of protection... well... I will be doing some research on one of those windshield lock kits!

Same here... someone rolled up and in what... 2 minutes had a new shield.

I'd say one of the smartest... roll up... this guy's problem becomes mine.

Ever had one of those days where what could go wrong has... Wife had a migraine, I'm not feeling the best, kids are whining, and someone Fs with your whip... More I think about it... the more I'm getting into a shxtty mood - I'm going to call this a day - hit the shower - and say Peace Out.

really? 10 minutes in cabela's? go in to take a leak? just kidding, i spent 20 minutes in a menards (minnesota/wisconsin version of home depot for those that don't know) several years ago only to come out to a missing RKC! not a good feeling at all. it's only a windshield, only a motorcycle....could be a lot worse. hopefully it was a buddy messing with you, that is one of the first thoughts i had when my bike was stolen.

I would check with Cabelas and see if any security cameras caught anything.

Why, just to watch it happen? Most parking lot cameras aren't that great for detail. Even so, are the cops going after someone for a $100 shield?

At least I could see what model the bike was and keep an eye out for it in town. I don't know where you price your shields, but mine was 378.00

I put this on my shield. Works real well. No snatching the shield off.

At least the dirt bag gave him the old hardware, only has to replace the window. So far I am very happy with my Clearview replacement Road King shield, slightly less than the Harley replacement (counting shipping) and a thing of beauty. At least have a look at their site, then decide.
