Default Can we lower the passenger pegs?

I got to looking today. There is a set of holes about 1/4 inch under the stock passenger foot pegs. My wife is complaining about leg position, so I was wondering if I could lower them to the unused hole?

13 street glide. I have true duals, rc components. It looks like the bracket will clear. I am not very mechanical (Other than oil changes), so I thought I would ask before I did it.

Buy these. Your wife will love you. They are high quality billet aluminum, triple chrome plated and made in America.

On the new frame you take out the top bolt, bottom bolt is a shoulder bolt so the bracket will slide on that bolt, you have 2 holes below the top bolt hole you can set the bolt in either of the 2 lower holes. I have done this to a few bikes for longer legged passengers, it only moves about 2 inches to the bottom hole but makes a big difference. Hope this helps.

The very bottom bolt hole has a rubber plug, you can remove the plug and lower the peg/floorboard mount. The bolt hole is a smaller bolt/screw, it comes with the floorboard kit for the street glide. I can check to see what size it is if you want.
