If you havent pulled the trigger yet, have you looked into the new ME888? Supposed to get 30% more mileage. Im told it takes 2x as long to warm up than the 880 did. Im going to try one in a few weeks after my motor is redone.

I run the 150 880 on the back of my bike with a set of 06 sg rims and i have not had any problems and I ride like an idiot.......lol

I have heard about the ME888 but not priced them out. Was the ME880 discontinued?
Good to hear bobber jake and nice looking ride!

No the 880 is still available. I was quoted $154 REAR mounted and balanced out the door for the 888

May want to look at the Metzler 888, Dennis Kirk, about $130

Oh wow that is a good price on the 888 I will deff have a look at them when I get new tires in a few weeks.....now only if it would warm up out there!!

Dennis Kirk or Jake Wilson consistently have low prices on tires. DK service is unmatched. With regard to the 888 replacing the 880, yes. They are replacing the 880 with the 888 over time. They will be adding additional tire sizes and WW's to the 888 line up. This is according to the Metzeler Co. web site.
