HD Smart Security System Hands Free Fob
I purchased a used security system that turned out to not work.
I still have the key fob that came with it. I have now purchased a security system new from Harley Davidson.
Question, will the dealer be able to program my used key fob to my new system?
I do not have a bar code for key fob.

Not sure if the dealer needs the serial # or not to pair up with your system. I do believe you can only have a 2 FOBs paired at any given time. If I'm not mistaken if you open up the FOB as if you were going to change the battery, if I'm not mistaken the serial # should be found in there.

As stated, you can only have two fobs "married" to the bike at a time. The dealer should be able to pair up your used FOB with no problem.
When you tried the used system, did you install it yourself, or take it to the dealer? The dealer has to go in to the ECM programing and tell it that the security module is there or it won't work.
While you're at the dealer, go ahead and get the HD siren and the battery operated (not the rechargable!) pager to go with it...best $200.00 you will spend! I've got it on my Heritage and my Ultra, and the pager will notify you if someone is messing with the bike up to a half mile away, even if the bike is in a parking garage and you inside a building!
