Hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.

Was out enjoying a ride and after a lunch stop I went to start the bike and there was a loud "click" sound when I hit the starter button and then the bike lost all power.
I've pulled the fuses, and they are ok. The battery is only 2-3 months old, and even tried jumping the battery, but still when I turn on the ignition I get nothing.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Should also point out that the bike does not have any aftermarket items in the motor or electrical systems.

 

Check the relay? Also, 07's had the starter issue under bulletin titled big twin starter fasteners which you can find in a search here on the forum.
