You can't ride if you think a SG is not nimble. And if you think the extra 70 lbs is going to make a bike less nimble.... Once again you can't ride

Im 5'10". I will probably stick with the stock seat for awhile. I have sat on it a few times at the dealer and its pretty comfy to me.

I love my Fatboy Lo, but in retrospect knowing now and having rode a road glide I'd get the street or road glide. The road glide feels great at highway speeds. If I had the money I'd have both but I see myself stepping up to a bagger in the next few years.

When I brought home the SG and parked it next to the other SG, the SG I originally had ended up just sitting collecting dust. BTW the original SG was a Super Glide with a Fat Boy front end and can be seen in my signature picture, the new SG is a 2008 Street Glide.

I have a couple of HDs but if I only had to choose one, then I would simply go with the touring bike. But it depends on how you ride and what you plan to do...
When I ride on a 3K road trip, I like the touring. When I customize my ride and pimp it out, then I like the soft tail platform and no fairing. I have seen some sweet custom baggers but I really like my custom lo.

I took a test ride on a '12 SG and it was cold and windy out. Riding down the interstate I felt fine though and it was awesome listening to the radio. I traded the Lo in that day and haven't looked back. The Lo was a great bike around town but me and the wife like riding through the hills and stopping at wineries so the storage is nice.

I have a 12 SG and stand around 5-10. Went with 8" LRS Ultra. Great shield. The wind blows right over my head yet I look above it. I also got the non adjustable wind deflectors that live on the bottom of the fairing. Absolutly no wind buffeting. Can ride all day. Stock seat is fine for me.

Well, step 1 is complete. The FBL is sold. Waiting for the guy to bring the money by. Now i have to find a dealer that will make me a good offer. Wish me luck.
